Documentation Manager: Lead Technical Writers (Remote)
Datadog is looking for a Documentation Manager to oversee the development of high-quality technical documentation, including API guides and user manuals. You’ll manage a team of technical writers, ensuring they project-manage and deliver engaging, clear, and informative materials.
The position is remote within North America and requires extensive experience in technical writing, team management, and familiarity with programming and cloud services. Excellent benefits, including stock equity, are offered.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years experience in technical writing and documentation.
- 2-5 years managing a small team of technical writers.
- Familiar with writing documentation as code.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor technical writer direct reports.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to maintain documentation.
- Research technical details through experimentation and expert interviews.
