Human Resources Manager at Gotham Technology Group
Salary range: $70k–$80k
Work location: This role offers the flexibility to work remotely; however, the requirement to work on-site at a Gotham office or attendance at company events is based on business needs.
Gotham Technology Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing technical documentation that supports our products, services, and customer implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with sales and technical teams to clearly define deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.
Collaborate with technical staff authors to edit white papers that communicate technical concepts, product capabilities, and industry insights to external audiences.
Review and edit content created by other writers to ensure consistency, clarity, and technical accuracy.
Create/maintain spreadsheets used for SOW cost calculations.
Collaborate with the technical teams to gather information and translate it into clear, concise content.
Proofread and revise Gotham Professional Services project deliverables (e.g., assessment, design, and as-built documents, presentations, diagrams) to ensure clarity and completeness of information presented.
Lead documentation projects from concept to completion.
Serve as the internal systems documentation gatekeeper, ensuring that all internal technical content (i.e. SharePoint, DocuSign, Training platforms) is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
Administer Adobe tools used for documentation and publishing, including license management, user support, and workflow optimization.
Conduct usability testing and incorporate customer feedback to improve documentation effectiveness.
Adhere to all company policies and Security Controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication or a related field.
5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a VAR or technology services environment.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and enterprise software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments is a plus.
