Responsibilities
- Re-write and migrate existing content to the Engineering Hub.
- Create and update articles for the Engineering Hub.
- Design, implement, and enforce strict guidelines for documentation standards.
- Follow a unified style for grammar, language structure, formatting, and vocabulary to ensure consistency across all content.
- Review and re-write existing pages to align with the new style, simplifying and clarifying content as needed.
- Read and understand existing articles before modifying; re-write content if it lacks clarity.
- Tailor content for a junior developer audience, using simple and clear language.
- Establish and define acceptance criteria for articles.
Requirements:
- Experience in writing technical documentation for international projects, 3+ years of technical writing work experience required.
- Excellent technical writing skills are required.
- Highly proficient in English (C1+)
- Experience with Markdown and HTML/CSS.
- Must possess expert understanding of one or more major technologies, such as database design and development, networking, client/server applications, security, multimedia, or device drivers, etc.
- The ability to read or write a high-level programming language is required.
- Must have demonstrated interest in, and knowledge of, broad but related areas of technology. The ability to be proactive in solving problems is required.
