National Bank Seeking contract Procedure Writer (1-2 Positions)

Overview

Do you have a knack for clear communication and a strong understanding of risk management? Are you a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we want to hear from you! Our National Bank is seeking one to two highly motivated and detail-oriented Procedure Writers to join our dynamic team for a contract, 20-week contract position (start date July 1st, 2024, end date December 2024).

Responsibilities: Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) within the Governance team to develop clear, concise, and accurate procedures aligned with the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance standards. Translate complex financial processes into well-defined, step-by-step instructions for internal use. Draft and revise procedures according to established FFIEC BSA/AML guidelines and the bank’s internal style guide. Maintain meticulous documentation and revision history for all procedures. Qualifications: Proven experience as a technical writer or similar role. Solid understanding of risk management principles, particularly as they relate to BSA/AML compliance (preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently develop clear and concise procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Requirements
