As a Technical Writer at GTreasury, you will play a pivotal role in creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality documentation for GTreasury’s products and services. This includes working with cross-functional teams—Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Client Support, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales—to develop resources such as Help articles, user manuals, setup and configuration guides, troubleshooting guides, API documentation, and other technical materials. The ideal candidate will be skilled in translating complex technical information into straightforward, concise, and user-friendly content that serves various audiences, including clients, channel partners, and internal teams.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and Maintain Documentation: Create and regularly update a range of technical documents, including but not limited to user manuals, Help articles, configuration and setup guides, troubleshooting resources, and API documentation.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Client Support, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales teams to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy and relevance.
- Ensure Quality and Consistency: Review and edit content to ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency in tone, style, and formatting across all documentation.
- Keep Documentation Current: Proactively update materials to reflect new product features, enhancements, and changes, ensuring alignment with product release cycles.
- User Experience Writing: Collaborate with UX/UI teams to develop in-product messaging, tooltips, onboarding flows, and other user experience content to enhance product usability.
- Multimedia Content Creation: Assist with developing multimedia assets (videos, interactive guides, etc.) to complement written documentation and support diverse learning preferences.
- Contribute to Knowledge Base: Help build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to support client education and internal teams.
- Project Management: Lead and manage documentation projects, including establishing timelines, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines for content delivery.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience in the financial services or treasury management industry.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information in a clear, understandable manner for diverse audiences.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong ability to grasp new technologies and software products and translate this knowledge into user-friendly documentation.
- API Documentation: Experience creating and maintaining API documentation is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability across all documentation materials.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, gathering input and synthesizing complex information from multiple sources.
- Tools Expertise: Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar platforms is a plus. Experience with Pendo, Jira, content management systems, and knowledge base tools is a plus.
- UX Writing: Familiarity with writing for user interfaces and improving user experiences is preferred.
- Multimedia Creation: Experience with creating multimedia documentation, including video tutorials or interactive guides, is desirable.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Salary: The expected annual median salary for this role is $85,000. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance, qualifications, experience, and location.
