Summary

The Content Designer is a member of the Mahou USA Content Marketing team, focusing on campaign development and adaptation, branding and package design, and Trade Marketing asset creation across the portfolio of Mahou USA’s brands. This includes ideating, mood boarding, concepting, and execution which may involve graphic design, digital and photo manipulation, animation/3-D, and photoshoots/photography. This role will take direction from written or verbal briefs, or visual sketching to translate them into design concepts and layouts. They will work closely with all positions in Marketing to develop highly engaging creative content that builds consumer awareness, entices purchase, and promotes consumer loyalty to our brands.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  1. Plan, organize, and execute projects; assist in developing graphics and photography, presentations, internet/intranet websites, marketing campaigns, and educational training.
  2. Deliver and present concepts and designs to Sr. Content Manager, Content Marketing Director, Marketing Director, and CMO.
  3. Assist in the production of a variety of assets including but not limited to print and digital media, sell sheets, posters, vehicle wraps, sponsorships and event support, point of sale and promotional items, merchandise, photography, and other forms of visual communication.
  4. Understand file preparation/finalizing artwork for print and digital applications.
  5. Understand die lines/print layouts and printing processes.
  6. Have an excellent grasp of current design trends and animation principles.
  7. Work with Sr. Content Manager to ensure design consistency across all platforms. Collaborate on design concepts. Ensure design work is applicable in digital and print mediums.
  8. Assist with the conceptual thinking, development, and execution of creative campaigns across all marketing mediums; has potential to lead or perform this function independently as needed.
  9. Work with both text and images. Image manipulation, photo re-touching, 3D renderings/animation.
  10. Assist in developing collateral to educate the sales team on brand standards and beer release specifications.
  11. Manage multiple projects and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  12. Responsible for special projects as assigned by Sr. Content Manager/Content Marketing Director. Consistently produce opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Art and Design with an emphasis in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or a related area.
  • 2+ years of experience with GRAPHICS, Adobe CC Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects; Blender is a plus.
  • Traditional or digital painting, illustration is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of related marketing experience preferred; alcohol/beverage industry experience is a plus.
  • Ability to translate business strategy and objectives into design concepts.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $50,000-$60,000
