Technical Writer

Position Overview

We are seeking a fully remote skilled Technical Writer to join our mature and high-performing product/engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation for our products, including user manuals, API documentation, and operation manuals. This role requires a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain user manuals, operation manuals, and API documentation for products.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze information for documentation.
  • Create white papers and specifications to support product features and functionality.
  • Ensure all documentation meets company standards and is consistent in style and format.
  • Review and edit documentation created by others to ensure clarity and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with creating user manuals, API documentation, and technical specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Though fully remote, the team works in west coast business hours.
