Location: New Orleans, LA (REMOTE)

Hours: Part-time ( 10-25) hours a week

Responsibilities

• Edit and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, factory acceptance test procedures, operating procedures, and training materials.
• Edit a structure from a 3D model in collaboration with engineers, designers, and field personnel to gather technical information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards in all documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer- Editor in the Oil & Gas (Offshore/Deepwater) environment, preferred.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Experience with editing and creating 3D models
• Knowledge of oil & gas equipment, pressure control systems, or mechanical engineering is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $38.00 – $48.00 per hour
