Technical Content Developer-API Focus – Contract to Hire

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Content Developer with a focus on API documentation to join our team. This role involves creating a variety of technical content, including API documentation, blog posts, whitepapers, and tutorials, to support our developer community. The ideal candidate is not only skilled at technical writing but also has a deep understanding of API technologies and can produce content that educates and engages developers.

Responsibilities:

Write and maintain high-quality API documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Develop technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, and whitepapers to promote our APIs and educate developers.
Work closely with the marketing and development teams to align content with product goals and developer needs.
Research industry trends and developer pain points to create relevant and timely content.
Ensure all content is optimized for search engines and adheres to best practices in technical writing.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a technical writer, with a focus on API documentation.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and informative content.
In-depth knowledge of API technologies, particularly RESTful APIs.
Experience with content management systems and technical writing tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
