UX Content Writer – Content Strategy, Content writing

This is a fully remote, 40-hour a week role. We will be looking to fill two open positions each with different schedules.

• Role One: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm ET with willingness to adjust for news.
• Role Two: Saturday-Wednesday. 6am-3pm ET on Saturday and Sunday, 9-6p on Monday-Wednesday

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented UX Writer to join our team, responsible for creating compelling and user-centric content to enhance the overall user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content strategy and writing, with a keen understanding of how to convey information effectively in digital formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement content strategies that align with user needs and business goals.
• Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for various digital touchpoints including websites, applications, and video scripts.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure content is integrated seamlessly into the user experience.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform content creation and improve user engagement.
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
• Optimize content for search engines and implement SEO best practices where applicable.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance content effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UX Writer or similar role in content strategy and content writing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant writing samples, including digital content and video scripts.
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to create content that resonates with users.
• Familiarity with SEO techniques and best practices is a plus.
• Experience with user research and wireframing is desirable.
• Knowledge of brand voice development and accessibility standards is a plus.
• Proficiency in content management systems and editing tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
